BECOME AN FCCW MEMBER!

If you are new here, every year FCCW runs a membership drive, where we seek out 100 new members to commit to financially supporting our work. Members provide both a critical, values-aligned source of funding and are an amazing group of people with whom you get to be associated.
In the best and most haunting of times, the best thing FCCW can offer is the chance to gather great people around feminist creative practice. So this year, we’re adding two exciting new perks to membership, and we hope they’ll entice you to join.
The first is that we’re throwing a Halloween party on Friday, October 30 at our space, adjacent to the Forest Lawn Cemetery, complete with hot djs [F.P.O.] and NayGod, an open shed bar full of tricks and treats, and a costume contest — award categories will be announced soon! Free to FCCW members, and $20 for non-members.
The second is we’re bringing members on quarterly group studio visits with artists. Over the course of the next year, we will gather our members to visit the studios of Christina Quarles, Mira Henry, Lia Halloran + Studiomates, and Suzanne Lacy. We hope these trips invite curiosity, inspire your own creative work, and bring you closer to other FCCW members.
Finally, we know that some of our workshops, especially when they’re free and focused on a specific, handy skills, can fill up quickly. So we’ll reserve a handful of spots for our members going forward (hint: you’ll have to login to Neon, so email us at [email protected] if you need help with that).
You can join at three levels: $10, $30 or $50 a month. And don’t forget that members also have access to these perks:
- Access to our Community Board and Job Forum email listservs (where great LA housing and job opportunities are found!)
- Invitations to special gatherings, like the ones above and hopefully more!
- If you join at our $30 and $50 levels during the drive, you will also get free copies of new CO—CO books, and a calendar designed by the one and only Sundhya Anthony
- 20% off all purchases from the FCCW and CO—CO shops with a code at check-out (email us if you need that code!)
