Calling all bookworms to get nerdy with us! We’re inviting you to read this article, an excerpt from The World is Burning but We’re Still Buying Shoes by Alec Leach, and join us on Sunday, July 30 to discuss it with Gabrielle Felder. Both the book and the article cover sustainability, fashion, consumerism, social media, and capitalism. Gabrielle’s mind has been on fashion, consumerism, “multiculturalism” and cultural appropriation — gobble up this brain fodder and bring your thoughts to book club!
