The Getty Marrow Video Content Development Internship will support all programs and projects at Feminist Center for Creative Work in the conceptualization, creation, editing, and distribution of video content.
Feminist Center for Creative Work (FCCW) is an arts nonprofit that nurtures an ever-evolving, intersectional, intergenerational, and joyful collaborative feminist praxis — modeling ways of working and living through art, programming, media, publishing, and the redistribution of resources, from Los Angeles, within the world.
This position will play an exciting role in new video-based initiatives, including programming developed through our new streaming series and video vertical, FCTV, as well as the production of artist interviews, digital exhibition walkthroughs, development content, social media video content and more. Ideal candidates will have experience creating and editing video content.

Internship Term & Pay
Term dates: June 6 to August 12, 2022
Pay: $6,400 for the Internship Term; 40 hours a week for 10 weeks
Role and Responsibilities
This person in this role will be rotating through programming, our communications, and our executive/development divisions to acquire a comprehensive understanding of the ways these positions work individually and collectively to support Video Content Production at FCCW. In the last half of the term, intern will self direct and manage an independent project with support and collaboration of team members.
The role will also support the ongoing development and production of FCTV programs in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to:
- General network administration and communications
- Assist in fundraising efforts and communications that support
- Pitch ideas for programming
- Research trends and in video media
- Research history of video arts programming
- Script and produce segments
- Shoot and edit videos
- Ideate and execute social media video strategy
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate is a visionary self-starter, who loves to work from theory to praxis. Our best interns have proposed and designed their own bold initiatives in response to our mission and core values.
Some qualifications include:
- Must be a currently enrolled college student or a student graduating in the Spring of 2022
- Experience ideating, creating, and producing video
- Ability to organize many moving parts and maintain a legible and transferable note-keeping and status update system
- A fun and willing attitude to get into both the ideas and gears of FCCW
