PROGRAMS ARCHIVE
While we were housed in our Elysian Valley space along the Los Angeles River, all programs were in-person and our archive of those programs is limited to photos. In 2020, when we closed that space and moved to digital programming, we experimented with forging new ways of online gathering. Below, we’re presenting some of our favorite digital programs that you can watch and engage with in their entirety. You’ll find a more complete list of past programs below.
FEATURED PROGRAMS
Letters from the Etui
Letters from the Etui is a digital platform featuring an animated video series, texts, and an accompanying series of workshops that support abolitionist frameworks, from personal to political practice. An etui — from the Old French estui, meaning prison — is a small ornamental case used for holding needles, cosmetics, and often other sacred possessions like personal letters.
Rethinking Structures Book Club with Nikita Gale
The Rethinking Structures Book Club was co-presented with CARLA and focused on the intersections of social justice and art world justice.
Get Psyched! series with Toni Addeyemi
